Constantine TV series review
Constantine, originally, was a comic book called 'Hellblazer' published by DC comics. This comic was written by Peter Milligan and was illustrated by Giuseppe Camuncoli and Stefano Landini. This comic book helped influence one of, personally, the best supernatural-horror TV series of the modern day.

Constantine, played by enigmatic actor Matt Ryan, is a supernatural detective who attempts to stop the evil that enters the overworld. However, the series continually mentions a 'rise of the darkness' which made me feel like something more dark and mysterious is to occur in the later episodes or series. With the series running as the comic books have been written, the series seems to be gathering a steady pace of increasing audience numbers. Critics have acclaimed that the show has just been a more special effect dependant show instead of actually using pure horror.
Personally, i believe this show has had potential from the start. Yes they use many effects, however what film or tv series doesn't nowadays? I mean Constantine still includes some points in which shows genuine horror, which for a tv series is very hard to do. The series does have a way to go on improving upon it's potential though. The things in which could be improved is the fact that less special effects could help the series be focused upon plot wise instead of just focusing on the cool looking things that John Constantine can do with his many supernatural skills.
